Note the box pleated burlap. I had extra material and made a bustle in the back! I suppose this makes my house a she. My dog Louie (often called "the cuteness") is a he. Those are my gardening gloves on the sofa. It's almost time to plant lettuce.
My poems have appeared in Dusie, Dogwood, The Pittsburgh Quarterly, Poetry Midwest, Moxie, Mind the Gap, the WTTW Chicago program "Arts Across Illinois" and other venues. I'm also an installation & book artist, a lecturer on typography & design, a proud mother and co-owner of an art studio. For many years I have been an activist for public art and the intelligent, apt use of form and language in public and private life. This space is for random thoughts and findings.
