She races cars. She practices good sportsmanship. She brings new customers/viewers/enthusiasts/money to the industry. She drives really fast. What's the real problem here?

- My poems have appeared in Dusie, Dogwood, The Pittsburgh Quarterly, Poetry Midwest, Moxie, Mind the Gap, the WTTW Chicago program "Arts Across Illinois" and other venues. I'm also an installation & book artist, a lecturer on typography & design, a proud mother and co-owner of an art studio. For many years I have been an activist for public art and the intelligent, apt use of form and language in public and private life. This space is for random thoughts and findings.
