willa, willa, willa

I've been on a Willa Cather kick this summer. The Professor's House (Vintage, 1990 [1925]) stole many hours of sleep last week. The lines she gives her characters, like
"It makes us happy to surround our creature needs and bodily instincts with as much pomp and circumstance as possible." (p. 55)
make me smile. Otherwise, I've been blurbnapped by Facebook and it's fun over there but I am finally a bit tired of it . . . Did I just coin a new word?
